Austin Moonflower Performing Arts Group hosted the 2025 Chinese Lantern Festival Celebration Gala on February 10, 2024 at LISD South Performing Art Center, Cedar Park High School.  The two-hour gala showcased traditional and contemporary Chinese music, dance, Kung Fu martial art, and more,  performed by our members and guest performers from The Dropouts band, Shaolin Temple Cultural Center, The Love of China School of Chinese Dance, Natyalaya School of Dance, Heavenly Dragon Lion Dance Association, as well as George Baolin (bass solo), Lao Mao (vocal and guitar), Zoie Burgess (dance solo), Eric Zhao (Tenor), Xuhua Gu and Weitian Wu (pipa duet), ShengChieh Jason Lan (viola solo), Yuxin Liu and Jinni Shen (vocal duet), and Tzu-Kuang Tan (piano).
